thrilled by Pong. Eliza is far outshincd by today's Artificial Intelligence programs (like Ractcr), and Life...well, Life may be the sole exception. There has never really ever been anything else quite like Life. Though it runs faster than the old BASIC programs, this version is not as fast as some pure machine language versions I've seen. The graphics arc less than inspiring, too. The lo-res mode uses asterisks on the character screen, and the hi-res mode just uses half-block character graphics. The manual apologizes for the fact that the Commodore 64 version docs not have as high a resolution as the Apple version (Apple conversionitis, again!)
